We build to the technical project

Demolishing safely requires method: identifying structural elements, propping what needs to be propped and managing the rubble correctly. We carry this out as a first step within a larger build or as a standalone service.

What we provide
  • Method and safety throughout the demolition
  • Rubble disposal to an authorised waste manager
  • Coordination with the subsequent build
What the project needs
  • A notification or licence depending on the case
  • Identification of structural elements beforehand

What's included

Selective and full demolitions
Propping and temporary support
Rubble removal and waste management
Site preparation for the new build

The exact scope is defined in writing for each project. It does not include items that are not agreed.

When this service makes sense

  • You are starting a renovation or reconstruction
  • Elements need to be removed safely
  • You need a controlled clear-out of a space

This is not a DIY guide

Structural, electrical, gas and roofing work is high-risk and must be carried out by professionals in line with the technical project and regulations. We explain how we work; this is not a manual for doing it yourself.

Frequently asked questions

What should be checked before removing a partition wall?
First it has to be confirmed that it is not a load-bearing wall, and any services running through it — water pipes, electrical cables and so on — have to be identified. A poorly planned demolition can affect the structure, which is why it is done with method and, where needed, a technical assessment.
What is the difference between a small interior strip-out and a structural demolition?
A small interior strip-out — removing partitions or finishes — is usually part of a renovation. A demolition that affects structural elements needs propping, a clear method and, normally, a technical project and assessment. They carry very different levels of risk.
What happens to the rubble?
The rubble is removed and managed through an authorised waste manager, as required by regulations. We build this into the organisation of the work from the outset.
Do demolitions need a permit?
Depending on the type of work and the municipality, a prior notification or a licence may be needed, and the structural elements affected have to be identified. The final decision rests with the council; we review what is required for your case.
Why is it not recommended to do this yourself?
Because demolishing safely requires knowing what is structural, propping what needs support and managing the rubble correctly. It is a risk-carrying task that must be carried out by qualified personnel with the right equipment.
