Windows and closures are the part of the building envelope that closes the openings in the façade and regulates light, ventilation and weather-tightness. We renew windows, entrance doors, sliding systems and garage doors, and resolve the sills and trims around each opening. Because they affect the façade, the insulation and comfort, they deserve a considered approach, coordinated with the rest of the work; the result depends on the system, the opening and the condition of the existing support.

The exact scope depends on the opening and the system, and is set in writing before work starts; we do not recommend any particular brand or product.
- Can the windows be changed as part of a façade or insulation refurbishment?
- It often makes sense to do them together. When the façade is already being worked on, or insulation is being added, renewing the windows at the same time helps resolve the junctions and thermal bridges around the openings. That said, the real gain in thermal or acoustic comfort depends on each home, on the whole envelope and on how it is used, so it is worth assessing case by case and, where needed, with a technician. We do not give energy-saving figures.
- Do you need permission from the community or the council to change windows or closures?
- You may, and it depends on the case. If the work affects the façade or a shared element — for example in an apartment building — the agreement of the owners' association and, depending on the scope and municipality, a notification or licence are usually needed. The requirements are set by the regulations, the association's statutes and the council; check them with the technician for your case before starting.
- Do you work with sliding systems, doors and garage doors?
- Yes. We install sliding windows and doors, entrance doors and garage doors, manual or motorised. On large sliders, the guides, levelling and sealing are decisive for operation and weather-tightness; on motorised doors, the electrical and safety side is connected by an installer. The right solution depends on the system and the opening.
- What information can I send before asking for a quote?
- A few photos or a video of the current windows or closures and the surrounding façade, the approximate sizes of the openings, and an idea of what you want to renew all help.
