Waterproofing
Waterproofing of roofs, terraces, basements and walls to stop leaks and protect the structure from water.
What it involves
Water that is not properly managed ends up damaging the structure and the finishes. We locate the source of the leak and apply the waterproofing system suited to the substrate and the use of each surface.
What's included
The exact scope is defined in writing for each project. It does not include items that are not agreed.
When this service makes sense
- You have leaks in the roof, terrace or basement
- Damp appears after rain
- You are renewing a surface exposed to water

Frequently asked questions
- How do I know whether I need full waterproofing or just a repair?
- It depends on the source and the condition of the substrate. Sometimes a localised repair resolves a specific leak; in other cases the whole waterproofing system needs renewing. It is worth inspecting the surface and the drainage before deciding.
- Can you waterproof a terrace without lifting the whole floor?
- It depends on the situation. There are systems that can be applied over the existing floor covering if it is in good condition, but when the slope or the substrate has failed it is often necessary to lift it in order to do the job properly. We assess this after seeing the terrace.
- Is waterproofing a permanent solution?
- No system lasts for ever, and the result depends on the substrate, the slope, the drainage, the exposure and the use of the surface. That is why we first diagnose the source and choose the right system, rather than masking the symptom.
- Can waterproofing be done as part of roof or façade work?
- Yes, it often makes sense. When work is already under way on the roof, terrace or façade, integrating the waterproofing avoids a return visit and resolves the envelope as a whole.
- What can I send you for a first assessment?
- Photos or a video of the affected area, the drainage, and if possible where the water appears all help us give a first orientation. To confirm the system, though, a site visit is usually needed to check the substrate. You can send everything over WhatsApp.

We'll give you an indicative quote and a clear scope before we start. The timeline and price depend on the project, the ground, the materials, the permits and the finishes.
