Roofs and coverings
New and refurbished roofs: pitched roofs, flat roofs and walkable terraces, with insulation and waterproofing properly resolved.
We build to the technical project
The roof protects the whole house. We work on pitched and flat roofs treating the deck, thermal insulation, waterproofing and drainage as a system, not as separate items. Rainwater drainage — gutters and downpipes — is part of that system: correctly sized and maintained gutters and downpipes carry water away from the roof and façade and help prevent leaks and damp. All work at height is carried out by qualified personnel with the correct equipment and safety measures.
- Assessment of the deck and drainage
- Execution of the complete roof system
- Documentation of the phases
- Safe access to the roof
- A project or licence depending on the type of work
What's included
The exact scope is defined in writing for each project. It does not include items that are not agreed.
When this service makes sense
- The roof leaks or is ageing

Stages of the work
Structural, electrical, gas and roofing work is high-risk and must be carried out by professionals in line with the technical project and regulations. We explain how we work; this is not a manual for doing it yourself.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the whole roof need renewing, or can only the affected area be repaired?
- It depends on the source of the problem and the overall condition. Sometimes a localised repair is enough; in other cases it is wiser to renew the whole system. We assess that after inspecting the roof.
- Why do you treat the roof as a system rather than just the tiles?
- Because the deck, insulation, waterproofing and drainage — including the gutters and downpipes — work together. Blocked or undersized downpipes can end up causing damp on the façade, so acting on just one part often leaves the problem unsolved; that is why we look at the whole.
- Can a roof be assessed from photos or video?
- Photos and video help give a first orientation. Even so, a visit with safe access is often needed to check the deck and the detail points before defining the solution.
- Does damp on the top-floor ceiling always come from the roof?
- Not always. It could be roof leaks, but it could also be condensation or other causes. We identify the source before acting, so the problem is properly resolved.
- Is a permit needed to renew a roof?
- Depending on the type of work, it may require a prior notification or a licence and, in some cases, a technical project. This should be checked with the local council.
