Reinforced concrete structures
Load-bearing reinforced-concrete structures built to the project and calculations: columns, slabs, beams and walls. The work you cannot see that holds everything up.
We build to the technical project
The reinforced-concrete structure is the backbone of the house. We build it to the drawings and the structural calculations, with control of the reinforcement, the formwork and the curing of the concrete in phases.
- Execution to the drawings and calculations
- Control of the reinforcement and formwork
- Documentation of every phase
- A structural project and calculations
- Site supervision
- A building licence
What's included
The exact scope is defined in writing for each project. It does not include items that are not agreed.
When this service makes sense
- You are building a new house or building
- You are extending or strengthening an existing structure
- The project requires new walls or floor decks

Stages of the work
Structural, electrical, gas and roofing work is high-risk and must be carried out by professionals in line with the technical project and regulations. We explain how we work; this is not a manual for doing it yourself.
Frequently asked questions
- Who designs the structure — you or a technician?
- The design and calculation of the structure are the responsibility of the architect or structural engineer and the site supervision. We build it to the drawings and the calculations, with control of the reinforcement, the formwork and the concrete.
- Why wait before building on top of the concrete?
- Concrete needs curing time to reach its design strength. We work in phases and do not strike the formwork or load the elements until the process allows it, according to the project.
- Are cracks in concrete normal?
- Some shrinkage cracks can appear and do not always indicate a problem, but they should be assessed case by case. With any structural doubt, we review it with the site supervision.
- Who do you coordinate with during the build?
- We coordinate with the architect or surveyor and the structural engineer. The site supervision checks that the execution matches the project.
- Can you strengthen or extend an existing structure?
- In many cases yes, but it first has to be assessed with a project and, where relevant, a structural study. The solution depends on the real condition of the structure and the new loads.
