What it involves

Good insulation is one of the improvements with the greatest impact on comfort and energy bills. We study where heat is escaping or noise is entering and propose the solution suited to each element.

What's included

Façade insulation from the outside or inside
Roof and ceiling insulation
Acoustic insulation of walls and floors
Treatment of thermal bridges

The exact scope is defined in writing for each project. It does not include items that are not agreed.

When this service makes sense

  • The house is cold in winter or hot in summer
  • There is condensation or noise between rooms
  • You want to reduce energy consumption

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between thermal and acoustic insulation?
Thermal insulation reduces heat loss and the ingress of cold or heat, improving comfort and helping to contain consumption. Acoustic insulation reduces the transmission of noise between rooms or from outside. They are often addressed together, but they are different solutions depending on where and how they are installed.
Will insulating my home reduce my energy bills?
Good insulation typically improves comfort and can help contain consumption, but the real effect depends on each home, how it is used, the heating system and the rest of the envelope. That is why we do not give saving figures: they only make sense case by case and, often, with a technician.
Is it better to insulate the façade from the outside or the inside?
Both options are viable and each has advantages depending on the situation. External insulation addresses thermal bridges more effectively, but is not always feasible; internal insulation is simpler in some homes. The right solution depends on the building, the owners' association if there is one, and the budget.
Does insulation help with condensation?
It can, because condensation is linked to cold surfaces and thermal bridges, but it is not always the only cause: ventilation and how the spaces are used also play a role. It is worth assessing the situation before deciding, and sometimes a combination of measures is needed.
Can insulation be included within a renovation, or does it need to be a separate job?
It is often integrated within a renovation — for example with dry-lining or when renewing the roof — making the most of the work already under way. In other cases it is planned as a specific intervention on the façade or roof. We assess your situation and prepare a written scope.
