Frequently asked questions
- Which part of the pool do you build?
- We carry out the civil works: the excavation and shell, the waterproofing and lining, the pool deck and perimeter paving, and the supporting building work for the filtration and water treatment systems. We coordinate with the filtration and water treatment specialists for a complete result.
- Do you handle the water treatment and maintenance?
- No. Water treatment, chemicals and ongoing maintenance are the responsibility of the filtration specialists, not the building contractor. Our work is the construction side and leaving the support works ready for the services.
- How do you approach the waterproofing of the shell?
- We execute it carefully and with appropriate solutions, but no element lasts for ever: the outcome depends on use, maintenance and time. We work so the result is durable, without promising permanent water-tightness or that no maintenance will be needed.
- Is a permit needed to build a pool?
- Often yes, and it depends on the municipality and the type of pool. Formal procedures and, in some cases, a technical project may be required. It is worth checking the requirements with the local council; the final decision rests with the authority.
- Can I connect the electrical or filtration side myself?
- We do not recommend it. The combination of water and electricity carries serious risks and must be handled by qualified personnel and the relevant specialists. We leave the building support works ready and coordinate with them.
